It's a Whole New Slayground!
PREVIOUSLY ON BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER:
Eager to forget recent Ethan and birthday traumas, the Scoobies planned a family outing to the Whispering Pine Slug Fest. Dawn convinced Carrie to at least listen to Xander, and when he called her, she accepted his invitation to the Slug Fest. Xander told the rest of the family of his decision to tell Carrie the truth about his life, and they reluctantly accepted his choice.
Although the day started well enough with the Scoobies telling Buffy and Giles to get on with their first date already, it took a turn for the weird when members of the Coven were inexplicably transformed into giant slugs. Determined to let Buffy and Giles have alone time for a peaceful date, the gang worked to protect the witch-slugs from discovery and injury.
Several close calls and one missing slug later, the Scoobies, with Carrie and Lessa's help, managed to return the sluggish Wiccas to their normal state. All ended well, and Buffy and Giles had a disaster-free date.
